Rhode Island’s Craft Beer Week is March 5-13th!

The brewery scene has exploded in RI over the past few years and Craft Beer Week aims to celebrate all that has been brewed! RI Craft Beer Weeks kicks off March 5th and continues all week with events at your favorite bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and of course, breweries!

One of the most exciting events is the Rhode Map Challenge. This challenge invites you to visit all the 35+ breweries in RI throughout the week. Here are the details from the RI Brewers Guild, the hosts of Rhode Island Craft Beer Week:

• Rhode Map Challenge – Rhode Island might be the only state where it is possible/convenient to visit EVERY brewery in one week.  With the help of a designated driver, visit every RI brewery during RI Craft Beer Week to participate in a contest that will be run through the RI Brewery Passport App. “Check-in” to and post picture of your beer at every brewery (or as many as you can) that week and prizes will be awarded to the top five fans including two: tickets to the Ocean State Beer Festival, two entries to the Craft Brew Races Newport, two tickets to the Newport Beer Festival, two tickets to RI Brew Fest, a RI Brewers Guild Puzzle and much more! (See Prizes Here) “Checking-in” is different from getting your passport stamped – but you should also get your passport digitally stamped if you visit a brewery where you haven’t yet received a stamp! Remember, with each ten stamps of your passport, you are eligible for a prize!

In addition to the Rhode Map Challenge, there will be events happening all over the state.

• All Week – Apponaug Brewing Company will be showcasing “Beer From Friends,” craft beers from various RI breweries in addition to their own tap list.     
• All Week – Bravo Brewing Company – “Pretzel and Flight” deal for $10!
• All Week – @Foolproof Brewing Co – $1 taster! (1 per customer per visit) and $4 Friday (all week 3/4-3/11!) featuring $4 Allergy Sandwich Porter
• All Week – @Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island will have a Rhode Island Craft Beer Week Tap Takeover at the Taproom! Please visit www.greysailbrewing.com for Taproom hours.
• All Week – Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all month long at the Taproom with our famous “Dublin’s Daughters” (Guiness floated on Captain’s Daughter) – during open Taproom hours.
• All Week – Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island will hold a “Pack 2 Boy Scout Growler Fundraiser” – $5 of every “Pack 2” specialty growler plus an additional portion of sales will be donated back to the Troop. Fundraiser lasting throughout the month of March.
• All Week – @Black Oak, Coventry- “Flights and Bites” – Specialty flight and appetizers menu and pricing from open to close. Beer and burger pairings of a different brewery and burger every day.
• All Week – @Back 40 – Beer and burger pairings of a different brewery and burger every day.
• All Week – @Pour Judgement, Newport – Featured RI breweries are: Proclamation, Hive, Buttownwoods, Apponaug, Shaidzon, Union Station, Origin Beer Project

• 3/5/22 – 6pm – Moniker Brewery food pairings at Black Oak of Coventry to kick off the week! 
• 3/5/22 – 2-6pm – Narragansett Beer PVD will host “Rhode Island Day” all day to kick things off. Expect Gansett to launch a new beer as well as host iconic Rhode Island staples like Del’s and NY System Wieners (pop up from 2-6pm). Fun RI shirts for sale!
• 3/5/22 & 3/6/22 – Newport Craft Brewing Co. Girl Scout Cookie Pairings!  Guests can decide whether to have a beer flight or cocktail flight of 4 with paired cookies. Two sessions a day. Details.
